Camp Connect is a summer camp at Madonna Learning Center for children and adults with special needs, ages 4 and up. Our goal is to provide campers with a safe, structured, active, and fun-filled summer, while helping them connect with peers in the local community. Weekly activities include: dance, art, fitness, water days/swimming, special lunches, and more!
Madonna Learning Center families will receive priority applications on February 2nd. The application will be made available to the community on this site on March 2nd.
Unfortunately, due to staff limitations, we are unable to accommodate campers who need 1:1 support. We prioritize the safety of all our campers and staff. If a camper is unable to participate in the programed activities with the support available, Camp Connect may not be the right environment for that camper at this time.
Payment and Contract: Once your child is accepted to camp, our Camp Director will email you a welcome packet that includes the contract, required forms, and payment information. After receiving the acceptance email, families will have three weeks to complete all forms and submit a nonrefundable deposit equal to half of the total camp tuition, based on the length of enrollment: 4 weeks: $500 deposit, 3 weeks: $375 deposit, 2 weeks: $250 deposit, 1 week: $125 deposit. The deposit will be applied toward your camper’s total camp tuition. The remaining balance will be due by June 1. We have implemented this policy to help Camp Connect best serve as many campers as possible throughout the summer. Each week of camp requires careful staffing, planning, and preparation, and this process begins several months in advance. Your timely completion of forms and deposit allows us to plan effectively and ensure a safe, well-organized, and enjoyable experience for all campers.
