Life Centered Education

Life Centered Education -Focuses on building a foundation for independent living. These skills include reading, time, money, banking, job preparation, meal planning, shopping, meal preparation, self-help skills, internet and community safety, and housekeeping.

 

KIM SMITH - SUPERVISOR

Kim received her Bachelors of Science in Education with a specialty in Special Education. She began teaching at Madonna Learning Center  in 2019. Before MLC, Kim taught at Durham Elementary in Southlake, TX, Shawnee Trail and Pink Elementary in Frisco, TX, and Germantown United Methodist Preschool. Kim is married to Mike, and has two children, Addie and Court. She enjoys working out in her spare time. Her favorite foods are chinese and sushi. Kim says she loves Madonna Learning Centers, positive, happy atmosphere.

 

 

 

 

JENNIFER KACIC - ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR

Jennifer attended West Georgia College in Kennesaw, GA. She has been a volunteer and a substitute teacher at Madonna Learning Center for 3 years. She has one daughter, Madison, who is a junior at Briarcrest. Jennifer loves to travel, work out, read, hear live music, and be with family. Her favorite foods are mexican and hamburgers. Jennifer loves the friendly staff at Madonna Learning Center. The students at Madonna Learning Center fill her days with smiles and laughter.
