Director of Development 

Madonna Learning Center Inc Germantown, Tennessee, United States

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing relationship-builder that is responsible for all partnerships and fundraising related to the organization. You will identify prospects and build a pipeline of talent that will help accelerate Madonna Learning Center's financial growth. 

The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director and board of directors to manage all aspects of the development program. The Director of Development will plan and implement a fundraising plan with short and long term goals that includes annual, major, and planned gifts, event sponsorships, and corporate and foundation grants. Excellent communication skills are a must, along with the ability to develop and deliver on innovative ideas. The person in this position will have the opportunity to work with a close-knit and collaborative team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of persons with special needs and their families. A successful track record of productive relationships with donors or clients, working with donor management software or similar CRM system, and strong writing skills are required. Preference for candidates with 2-5 years of non-profit fundraising and grant writing experience. Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Fluency in Adobe CC
