Visual Arts are an important part of our programming. Visual arts encourage creative expression, allowing each student to develop increased self-esteem through participation in the art-making process. We focus on painting, collage, printmaking, pottery and sculpture.
NATALIE HARMEIER - ART
Natalie is a St. Agnes Graduate, and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University Of Memphis. She has worked at Madonna Learning Center since 2014. Before MLC, Natalie was a stay at home mom to her 5 children and was constantly crafting. Natalie is married to Tom, and has 5 children, Liz, Thomas, John, Paul, and Sarah Claire. Natalie loves crafting, crafting and MORE crafting. She also enjoys mexican food. Natalie loves the diverse group of students and parents at MLC. She loves the wonderful support team, staff, parents and volunteers!
HAILEE HEARN-ART
Haylee graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelors of Fine Art. She began teaching at MLC in 2022. Before Madonna Learning Center, Haylee taught art in Clarksville TN, and at John P. Freeman Optional School in Shelby County. Haylee loves being with her dog, Albus! He favorite types of art are painting and collage. She also loves dancing, especially hula hooping. She loves eating at City Silo and enjoys all music.
