Madonna Learning Center is a private, independent school for children with disabilities. The students range in age from 5 to 22 years. Approximately fifty children each year are enrolled in our school where educational services are individualized to  maximize strengths and address challenges.

Founded in 1969 by three Benedictine Sisters from Ferdinand, Indiana, the Madonna learning environment is faith-based.  The cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical developmental needs of each student are addressed. Families are vital and respected partners with a center staff in creating appropriate  programs that encourage independence and celebrate all achievements.

Initially called "Madonna Day School", its current name of Madonna Learning Center was adopted in 1996 when our school moved to beautiful new facilities in Germantown, Tennessee. Madonna Learning Center holds 501-C3 status as a private, non profit organization in Tennessee.  It also successfully earned SACS accreditation (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) in 2002. Madonna Learning Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, many of whom are parents of enrolled students (current as well as previous).
